SailNashville's TN Boating Safety Education Course

In-Person PREP Course for the TN Boating Safety Education Exam

Last year, 27 Tennesseans died from boating accidents. Don't be one of them this year. Learn to boat the right way.

Don't just take a test, learn the basics of how to operate a boat competently and safely.

If you were born after January 1, 1989, you are required to have a Tennessee Boating Safety Education Certification, whether it's an outboard, a personal watercraft or even a sailboat.

This is a course every boater should take. We'll cover the "rules of the road", safety equipment, the laws you need to follow when boating in Tennessee and much more. We'll explain the content in the TN Boating Safety Education Course textbook and help put it in a real-world context.

Our IN-Person TN Boating Safety Education PREP Course will prepare you for the more than just the test. It will prepare you for years of safe boating operation and fun. You will learn in our comfortable, modern classroom from certified instructors.

Take the course, then take the test. We guarantee you will pass, (or you can repeat the course as many times as needed at no additional cost).

Get your Tennessee Boating Safety Education Certification today. And stay safe on the water.

*Some insurance companies offer a discount for policy holders who have completed a NASBLA-approved boating safety course. Check with your carrier.
